    Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences is well-known for its high rankings and reputation. SIMATS has been graded "A+" by NAAC. SIMATS is ranked 27th overall, 13th among universities in India, and 11th among universities in Tamil Nadu. SIMATS has also been ranked in the 601-800th of global rankings by Times.

    For all these rankings and accreditations the college has been put under the list of Tier 1 colleges in India.
