    The School of Computer Science at the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) in Dehradun has a good placement record. In 2023, the school had a 100% placement record, with over 800 students placed. The average salary offered is between 7.5 and 8.5 LPA, and top recruiters include Dell, HCL, Infosys, Microsoft, Deloitte, and Cognizant. 

    UPES also has a successful career services department. The university has over 50 MoUs with partners worldwide and several active associations with international bodies.
