Is Science necessary to pursue B.Tech in food technology?

Yes, one should have Science with (PCM OR PCB) subjects to pursue B.Tech in food technology programme. Many universities do accept PCB subjects too for the same.
Either you need to sit for JEE or entrance exam of a particular university in which you want to apply.

In the majority of engineering colleges, for pursuing B.Tech in Food Technology, candidates need to have physics, chemistry and mathematics in 10+2.
