    Yes, Seven Islands Maritime Training Institute is a recognised institute. SIMTI is recognised by Directorate General of Shipping. Additionally, the Institute is affiliated by Indian Maritime University and accredited by Comprehensive Inspection Programme (CIP). The institute provides Certificate courses across several specialisations. SIMTI is a maritime training institute set up by Seven Islands Maritime Training Foundation.
