State Institute of Hotel Management, Indore is an autonomous Institute jointly supported by Ministry of Tourism, Government of India and Department of Tourism, Government of Madhya Pradesh.

SIHM Indore is registered under Society of Registration Act with District Register of Societies, Indore.

This Institute imparts education to the students in the hospitality industry.

Institute is administratively and financially under Ministry of Tourism, Government of Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal.

SIHM is one of the best hotel management colleges in Indore with courses like BSc and Diploma in different specializations. The college has good infrastructure, labs and classroom hostals etc. Good as the faculty is, they are well-qualified and give support. One gets good placements with recruitments from all major hotels chains and MNCs though there are some reviews that question the same, asking for more to be done. In the end, SIHM Indore is a decent enough pick for pursuing hotel management education in all of India with respect to its position among other colleges in Indore it seems blur.
