Is Sikkim Manipal University - Distance Education, a Real and Genuine education institute?
I'm thinking of applying to Sikkim Manipal University - Distance Education (SMU-DU), for the Bachelor of Science (Information Technology) programme but I'm getting mixed information about the university. I just want to know the feedback from ex-students or anyone where it's real or not.

While going for a distance education check if the institute is
approved and recognised by appropriate authority. In case of B.Sc. Distance, the institute must be recognised by UGC and approved by DEB. Sikkim Maipal University is recognised and approved by UGC and DEB.

Yes, I noticed it's recognized and approved by UGC and DEB from their website but on their website it says Admissions are currently Closed also I sent them an email with my doubts and no one replied.
