Silicon Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar is more or less a Tier 2 engineering college after all, it has won several accolades with regards to its academic programs and features in the 200-300 band for NIRF rankings in engineering for 2024, but it is not Tier 1 institution . Tier 1 colleges are well known for abundant resources, good ranking, and good placement records. Silicon Institute is ranked better regionally.

Silicon Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar is more or less a Tier 2 engineering college after all, it has won several accolades with regards to its academic programs and features in the 201-300 band for NIRF rankings in engineering for 2024, but is no Tier 1 institution with the IITs and NITs still holding an aura above the rest. Tier 1 colleges are well known for abundant resources, good ranking, and good placement records. Silicon Institute is ranked better regionally and hence provides good education and placement opportunities.
