Is six sigma certification helpful in career growth after PGDM, And what would be the minimum pay scale after completion?

While pursuing Post Graduate Diploma in Management into the specialisation of IT, project Management and Finance, the knowledge of six sigma is worthy. The prominent motive of this methodology is the application of measurement based technology for reducing consequences of project. This is accomplished through the use of two six sigma sub -technologies; DMAIC and DMADV. The pay scale is quite high enough at even entry level, for those who are with the combination of PGDM + Six Sigma Certificate. But, it depends upon various factors as well. Like in which company you are, location and designation etc. On the average, the average salary of operation manager (with this combination) is INR 8,00,000+ per year, for Quality Manager, it is INR 10,00,000/- per year for General Manager INR 9,00,000+ per years. First, let me make you aware that for getting certified in Six Sigma, one should have implemented a real-world project in his/her company bringing a significant improvement in process, saving cost or time or resources. Any Six Sigma Certification done online or just by giving a test without the real-world project is useless. However, benefits of genuine Six Sigma Green Belt Certification are many: -The very first benefit according to me is the ability to make a career transition. You can change your career to be a Six Sigma Trainer/Consultant post Master Belt certification for which Greenbelt is the stepping stone.
