Is SLAT similar to CLAT?

Hi Satya, SLAT stands for Symbiosis Law Admission Test. It is conducted for Symbiosis Law colleges in Pune, Hyderabad and Noida. It consists of 150 marks, 30 marks to each section. The overall pattern is same except for the English section. All the Questions in English section will be based on reading comprehension. If you complete the written round then you will be called for the Personal interview and writing ability test. CLAT is Common Law Admission Test for all the NLU's and other private colleges. Total marks is 200. Division of marks is different depending on the section. For example, Maths will consist only of 20 marks. Overall the syllabus is same, but if you minutely analyze previous year question papers and mocks you will understand the difference in question paper pattern. CLAT focuses more on analytical ability but SLAT sticks to reasoning ability. The level of questions in English and legal section also varies. The GK section of SLAT is easier than compared to CLAT.
