Is software engineering all about coding? If I learn coding, is it enough instead of software?

Computer programmers create software. Systems are constructed by software engineers. As far as I can tell, that's the main difference. It's one thing to create a software that really does anything. It's another thing entirely to design a software that works and can interact with a wide variety of ot

The major part of software engineering is coding. But there are different things to learn associated with coding to support it. They've different job roles also. And above all you have to have a good knowledge of software and "computer" to be a good coder.

Software Engineering is all about, how well you can design a solution to a given problem. Software Design, maintenance or testing are various job roles in this field. Coding is essential to grab the better opportunities in this field. So better focus on good coding and algorithm design

No, software engineering consists only 2 or 3 subjects of coding in 8 semesters. There are a lot of important subjects in software engineering. All the best.
