An SOP for MS in Environmental Engineering is similar to an SOP for Civil Engineering in terms of its structures. There might be certain subjects and topics that overlap between the two branches. If a student plans to change his branch from Environmental Engineering to Civil Engineering (or vice-versa), he/she may mention those overlapping topics while providing a justification for the change in course. In fact, the structure of an SOP for MS is more or less similar for most of the Engineering branches.
