On the other hand, Tamaka, Kolar, Karnataka is home to the deemed university Sri Devraj Urs Academy of Higher Education and Research. The Sri Devaraj Urs Educational Trust founded it in 1986. On May 25, 2007, it was granted deemed-to-be-university status in accordance with Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956. The university offers undergraduate (MBBS), graduate (MD, MS), and postgraduate Diploma medical courses. The college upholds excellent standards in its training, teaching, and evaluation procedures, as demonstrated by the high pass rate and the significant proportion of students who obtain first classes, gold medals, or distinctions in university exams.</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
