SREC being an institute of autonomous origin does not fall under the category to tier 1 or tier 2 colleges.However it is one of the topmost colleges in Coimbatore, run by SNR Sons Charitable Trust.It has been accredited and re-accredited as grade A+ (since 2003) by NAAC and by National Board of Accr
