Yes, it's an excellent university for B.Tech, however the B.Tech classes aren't your typical college courses. There are some courses that are not offered in everyday life, such as emerging technologies.

Admission to B.Tech is based on either the valid score in SSU's in-house entrance exam, i.e. SSU CET or state/national-level entrance exam such as OJEE / JEE Main respectively.
