Is srm good or lpu good for CSE.

LPU is a well renowned private university in India with 30K+ students all across the world and with 4000 experienced faculty members and staff members. There are more than 200 programmes to choose and with a great infrastructure LPU provides all the facilities within the campus itself. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognitions and accreditation down the lane and mark itself amongst the few of the top private universities. Even the placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other private universities as it is ranked the 5th amongst the other universities for its placement records. So, I would prefer you to choose LPU to pursue your higher studies.

As per my experience in LPU as a student, LPU is best place for B.Tech CSE. LPU is Great in teaching, placements, infrastructure or other facilities. It provides specialization also in Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Full Stack Web Development, Big Data, etc. With a great curriculum which is benchmarked with foreign universities. Placements are also good. CSE students got placement in Amazon with a package of 28 LPA. As per the last year record of LPU, the average packages in CSE are from 4 to 10 LPA. LPU prepares student for placement by giving lot of extra inputs like personality development class, soft skills class, etc. You can visit the LPU website for more information.

Well, there is actually no comparison. CSE being a highly dynamic field needs the curriculum up gradations almost continuously, LPU is only one of the few private universities which has recognised this and developed the process of continuous feedback and consultations with industry to upgrade the syllabi in real time ! LPUs investment in intellectual capital is way beyond the comprehension, extremely qualified and talented ! With a research powerhouse of more than 100 post doctorates and 700 PHDs LPUs strength is its academic power. Coming to infrastructure, the huge 600 acre plus campus which is equipped with each and every machinery, equipment an software required in all the programs is a wonder in itself, just for an example, more than 10 companies have established the centers for excellence within the campus with their own investment to keep an eye on the abundant talent ! The central library is one massive 6 story building with lacs of books and network to produce any title anytime ! And this is in addition to many other libraries in all the departments. Industry plays important part in shaping the careers of students at LPU, from consulting for curriculum, to guest lectures, industry interface, internships, consulting projects, establishing centers, providing machinery and equipment's, software, certifications and finally immersing the students from campus. Attracting 30000 plus students, 200 international universities and more than 650 companies from all over the world to its state of the art multicultural campus year after year after year speaks volumes about LPU. Hi Ashish, I believe SRM is not bad but LPU is too good. CSE is very much demanding nowadays and it is a quiet dynamic degree which requires very intelligent and keen learners. Thus, there is a need of only Industry ready candidates and LPU is a master of this. Actually LPU has developed the habit to produce not only quality engineers but LPU gives quality with class. From the very first semester LPU starts Professional Enhancement programs and start polishing the soft skills also. If any of my relatives will be the prospective students the. I would prefer LPU only.

LPU is good for any stream, it provide good placements in top MNC's. Whereas SRM also good, but not more than LPU.

LPU has amazing records for CSE branch, as recently on of, their student grabbed a package of 1 crore, so I would prefer LPU over any other institute.

Dear Ashish, I can't say about SRM but being alumni of LPU, I can assure you that LPU is the best private university for the CSE degree programme, There are some points I would like to share about why CSE is good from LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students on the basis of their academics and extracurricular activities and other factors. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, Iims, and top-ranked universities all over the world. Tie-ups: B.Tech in CSE has tie-ups with industries which helps students to explore themselves more in their field.
