Dear Ashish, Both SRM and LPU are good universities but being an alumnus of LPU, I can provide you with the details of the CSE programme at LPU. I have many friends who have done B.Tech and M.Tech from LPU and working in different IT companies with a good salary package. There are some points I would like to share about why CSE is good for LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, Iims, and top-ranked universities all over the world. Tie-ups: B.Tech in CSE has tie-ups with industries which helps students to explore themselves more in their field. LPU is always better than any other private universities in India. It provide good education, placements in top MNC's, it has good infrastructure, also provides scholarships to the merit students of LPU-NEST.

To commence with the curriculum, all the subjects you are going to study, their syllabus is designed keeping in mind the industry demands and the syllabus is vetted by company officials. Different specializations are offered to students depending upon the stream they want to opt for. For example- In CSE, they offer cyber security, IoT, data Science, machine learning, and many more. Moreover, they give you the option for pathway elective that whether you want to be in the corporate sector, higher studies, Government Job, or entrepreneur. In addition to it, the classes you have to attend regularly. They did not compromise with the academics of the students.
