Is SRM, Sonipat accredited to AICTE?

SRM University Haryana, Sonepat approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI). All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is the statutory Body of the Government of India whose jurisdiction for granting approval is only for technical institutions which are affiliated with various affiliating Universities. All the Universities established under the law of land Gazetted through the Central Government or the respective state governments are out of its purview for grant of approval from the AICTE. As SRM University Haryana, Sonepat is established under the Haryana Private Universities Act 2006 as amended by Act no. 8 of 2013 has been enacted by the State of Haryana and also established as per Section 2 (f) of the UGC Act 1956 and included in the UGC list hence no separate AICTE approval is required. Ongoing programs at SRM University Haryana are approved by the Department of Higher Education (government. Of Haryana). SRM University Haryana, Sonepat is a UGC enlisted University. Our course curriculum and infrastructure are as per the UGC guidelines. Established under section 2 (f) of the UGC Act 1956.
