Is SRM University, NCR campus a good choice for pursuing B.Tech in ECE? Instead, should I opt for LPU, Punjab?

Hi Sakshi, Well, SRM University is good but its southern campus is much better than NCR campus. Instead SRM University NCR campus you should opt for LPU Punjab. There are certain parameters such as placements, infrastructure, faculty level, environment, growth etc. To be considered while selection of institute for pursuing education. It a big question in the mind of a student as well as parents that what will the offers and placement scenario of educational institute when the student will be about to complete the course. LPU is an international university with more than 700+ tie ups with industries and companies to support academic and placement of his students. My cousin sister done her B.Tech in CSE from here and she got placed in Cognizant with top package. Other friends of her also placed in other companies such as Capgemini, Tech. Mahindra, BOSCH, Amazon, Texas Instruments, Cadence, Sandisk, Moserbear. Their junior Tanya Arora who is recently in news, got placed in Microsoft with 42 LPA. So, we have no doubt that LPU is best and a bench marks for placement and internships of students not only in CSE but also in other courses. One more point I want to highlight here is that the scholarships offered by LPU helps a student without any monetary burden. Dear Sakshi, I have no idea about the ECE programme at SRM University NCR Campus. But being alumni of LPU, I can assure you that the ECE programme at LPU Punjab is the best. My cousin completed the B.Tech in ECE programme from LPU itself and he shared his experience with you. LPU provides very good opportunities to all the students of the ECE department. There are some facts that you would also like about the School of Electronics and Electrical Engineering in LPU. Placements: LPU has a good placement record for ECE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are BOSCH, Microsoft, Code Nation, Adobe, etc. In which students of EEE/ECE are placed. The highest package offered for the ECE programme at LPU is 31 LPA and the average package is 5.1 LPA. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, and top-ranked universities all over the world. Hands-on Practical: Students who study ECE from LPU get an opportunity to do practical work in their field more than theoretical as LPU has Robotics and Automation lab, Bosch Lab, and other workshops conducted by this department such as Robotics workshop, Labview workshop, and many more. Being alumni of LPU, I will share details of labs and research facilities of LPU. Students who study EEE from LPU get an opportunity to do practical work in their field more than theoretical as LPU has Robotics and Automation lab, Bosch Lab, VLSI Lab, Power System & Power Electronics lab, DSP Lab, Robotics and Automation lab, etc. And other workshops conducted by this department such as Robotics workshop, Labview workshop, and many more. State-of-the-art Industry version EDA Tools from Cadence Design Systems, Mentor Graphics and Xilinx & Altera FPGA Development Kits, Verilog, VHDL Design & Simulation Tools. Research: All the faculty members are really helpful for all aspects whether it is academics or any other. My guide during my programme helped me a lot in my research work and I published 2 International Conference Papers in IEEE-Explore.

Hi, Engineering is one of the best programmes that LPU offers, and it is worth joining LPU for B.Tech (ECE). I will highlight some of the features : 1) The faculty, the infrastructure, and other facilities are excellent. 2) The placements are 100%, and the preparation begins from the very first year. 3) More than twelve Center of Excellence established by reputable companies like Automation Anyware, Texas Instruments, CISCO, SAP, Cadence, etc. 4) There is an innovation studio in LPU where students can work on their ideas. Moreover, in 2019, when the Indian Science Congress held in LPU, LPU Students also design Solar-powered Driverless Bus to ferry PM Modi to Indian Science Congress 2019 in this studio.
