Both the institutes are good in their own ways. But considering your choice, Journalism, I would suggest AAFT. They have BA in Journalism and Mass Communication, which is more journalism centric.
Whereas the course SXCKOL offers is mass communication-centric and journalism, as you know, is a part of mass communication.
I would suggest you visit the websites of the institues and look at the syllabus. Then you decide.

St. Xavier College uses a variety of teaching and learning techniques to impart knowledge and skills to its students in all departments.
The college offers two types of scholarship: Government Scholarship and College scholarship .
On the other hand, AAFT School of Mass Communication offers extensive range of courses that open gateway of opportunities for students.
So both have their own specialization in their own way.
