Is statistics along with Economics combination for my FYBA degree college,have any implication in my further career opportunities?

I am in FYBA I want to take up economics and political science for sure. But would statistics help me in further course of studies, as a third optional sub? What career opportunities will open up with eco-stats combination for FYBA &SYBA ? Is it ok if i drop stats? I am gonna do my BA in Economics.

Yes definitely, statistics with economics will definitely enhance your receptivity to issues, and will give more chances of opening in the related fields.
