Is Suresh Gyan Vihar University, Jaipur good for distance MBA?

    Yes, Suresh Gyan Vihar distance learning university is good, it is UGC, DEB, AICTE approved it is A grade by NAAC also. There is no doubt about the university is very good and has all the approvals. They offer MBA degree where distance learning name would not be written which is a very good thing. If you are looking at other universities also then I would recommend for Amity and Annamalai University as they both have a brand name in the market. Amity is a private university where Annamalai is Government University. Both are UGC approved Universities and both degree will be valid globally.

    Dear Aishwarya, Distance MBA is valid where it is used just for eligibility. Don't actually expect any significant skill gain from the programme.

    If you are not choosing LPU for MBA, make sure you are into IIMs or the deemed government business schools of India. Moreover, I would suggest you go through NIRF rankings 2020 for B-Schools and plan accordingly. LPU has been ranked 50th. Also, spending more money on colleges has nothing to do with the quality of education. It has to do with the quality of their infrastructure (for private colleges).

    No, SGVU was having recognition up to 2017-18 as per the circular available on DEB website. Even after, communication with SGVU since last three months, they are not providing me approval for Jan-20 session after fee deposit. Take care.

    Yes, SGV University is doing well but if you have interest then you can go for Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi. IGNOU has got international reputation as well.

    If you are interested in doing distance MBA then I would rather suggest you to join IGNOU. It's one of the reputed distance learning universities and has got good reputation internationally.
