    Yes, SVBP is recognised by UGC and ICAR. It's situated in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, and holds the special distinction of being known as the "First Agriculture University of the third millennium and the 21st century". The university is also recognised and financially supported by the Uttar Pradesh Government.
