Is swapping of the branch the only solution? Why is the college rank shown for PGDM and not for specific specialization?

I have converted PGDM finance but want to go for marketing.

Dear Abhi, college rankings for PGDM program are not known by specializations in case of B-Schools or management institutions.The rankings of PGDM college describes its qualities in management education means its rankings include all general specializations like finance, marketing, IT, HR, retail, etc. Specializations in subjects can be chosen in 3rd & 4th semesters that you wish to pursue i.e- finance, marketing, HR, etc.
