Is swimming essentially required for BTECH MARINE ENGINEERING.

Dear Rohit, Swimming is not an essential requirement for pursuing Marine engineering. The basic eligibility for pursuing a Bachelors in marine engineering is 10+2 examination with science subject such as Physics, maths and chemistry. For IITs, It is mandatory to qualify in the Joint Entrance Examinations (J.E.E). The duration for this course is 4 years.
