Is swimming facility in LPU for girls any good?

Yes, LPU has a campus of 650 acres, and it is true. LPU is the best in providing sports facilities which are numerous and diverse. The university provides facilities for cricket, football, boxing, basketball, taekwondo and many other sports. Indoor sports facilities include a roller-skating rink, bowling complex, snooker lounge, squash courts, swimming pools and many more. LPU believes in the holistic development of a student and even provides encouragement to sportspeople. LPU's sports infrastructure is one of the biggest & best in the World, university has a swimming pool for the standards of the Olympic Swimming pools, and it is no ordinary Swimming Pool. It is an Olympic-Size, mind-blowing, and simply amazing Pool that is a dream come true for every aspiring swimmer. There are two more swimming pools in the indoor stadium of the University. There are huge well maintained open grounds for outdoor games and yoga centers. LPU is also having the best trainers to train students rightly, and with full safety & security. Achievements of LPU student in sports one of the student who is LPUs Bachelor of arts student and India's ace athlete Neeraj Chopra has created history yet again as he became the first athlete from the country to win a gold medal at Lausanne Diamond League, Switzerland. Moreover are 11 LPU student played for Indian hockey team at Birmingham CWG 2022 and won sliver medal for India this is the proudest moment for India and for lovely profession university. Eight Vertos have made significant contributions to this achievement. All of us here at LPU would like to extend our congratulations and best wishes to the hockey stars.

Yes LPU do have Indoor Stadium and Gym are available in the university campus. Various facilities like Shooting Range, Swimming Pool, Warm up Pool, Badminton Court, Squash Court, Volleyball and Basketball Arena are available for students. Hope this helps.

Dear Aspirant, LPU believes in gender equality. Therefore, you can freely do whatever you want in LPU as per the rules and regulations. LPU has an enormous indoor stadium with various sports activities. They have 3-Olympic size swimming pools for both staff and students. Yes ! Indoor Stadium has a swimming pool. The stadium has shooting, a swimming pool, a warm-up pool, a badminton court, a squash court, a volleyball court, and a basketball arena. There are three swimming pools total, one of which is an Olympic-sized pool.

LPU provides the indoor swimming pools for its boys and girls students. Staff and students can swim in three Olympic-sized swimming pools. Not only swimming but all the indoor and outdoor sports are good and safe for all the students and staff of LPU.

It is certainly good for Girls. Girls can use Swimming Pool both-ways as Day Scholars and Hostlers. The fee is different for Day Scholars and Hostlers. All the outstanding sports persons that will be representing LPU and awarded with any grade of sports scholarship, Gym and Indoor Sports Complex are free for them.

Indoor Stadium and Gym are available in the university campus. Various facilities like Shooting Range, Swimming Pool, Warm up Pool, Badminton Court, Squash Court, Volleyball and Basketball Arena are available for students. This University had stringent security measures and is Guarded by highly dedicated Security male and Female Guards deputed all around the premises. This University has Centralized Security Control Room with 4500+ CCTV cameras all around the university. Hostelers (Girls) are not allowed to go outside the university at any given point of time, to go outside the university, permission from parents is taken to provide them with the GATE pass. The university is secured completely with high walls, barbed wires, security guards and CCTVs so no loopholes where they can sneak from.
