Syllabus wiil be of almost same in IIT's and NIT's.And the other deemed universities offer their own syllabus depending on the industries interest.

I would say contents are almost the same. There may be slight variations depending on the University/State. But in Tamil Nadu(Anna University), Karnataka (VTU) etc. almost all engineering colleges come under a single state owned University and one can expect identical syllabus in these states
