This is a really awesome question. Most of the students who could not get through their JEE Mains are in this confusion. Believe me even I had this question in my mind when I was going through all this, but then I choose to get into a college and the reasons for doing so are:
I was not good at Physics Chemistry and Mathematics. I am a general category student. I did not wanted to waste my one year preparing for something which I knew I was not apt enough for.
