    Tamil Nadu Agricultural University is a State University. It was set up in Chennai in the year 1868, the university campus was changed/relocated to Coimbatore in  the year 1906. It was in 1920 TNA got affiliated with the University of Madras. Recognised by UGC, it offers a total of 96 UG, PG,   doctoral courses and PG Diploma in various areas of Science and Technology through its 15 constituent colleges and 29 affiliated colleges which are spread in various areas in Tamil Nadu. Tamil Nadu State University offers a 4 year BTech and a 4 year BSc in full-time mode at the Uundergraduate level.
