    Yes, Thakur Institute of Aviation Technology is approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Government of India. The Aircraft Maintenance Engineering course offered by TIAT Mumbai is DGCA-approved.  The institute is further recognised by many international organisations such as the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), the General Civil Aviation Authority  (GCAA), and the Bhutan Civil Aviation Authority  (BCAA), among others.
