Is Thapar a good choice for B.Tech?

    Thapar is good for BTech CSE, as the placements are very good, the average package for CSE is highest in the region, faculty is decent(don't expect much from them). Fee is high. Some good technical and non-technical socities.
    Placements are decent for other departments also, but that's not what Thapar is known for, mostly good IT companies visit Thapar, and packages are good. I see no point studying for 4 years in any branch of Btech and end up in an IT company.

    Yes Thapar is a good choice for pursuing B.Tech if your budget allows. thapar being a private institute tends to cost bit more than the government. But in terms of faculties and studies university is best. More over in terms of social exposure there is a variety of students thus cultures from all parts of India can be seen. For placement, Average package till last year i would say the average was about Rs.6.6-6.9 Lac per year. Highest i remember was from Amazon.in Rs.27 Lac (cost to company)

    Yes Thapar is one of the best choice for B.tech as it is one of the best colleges in India. Even as per NIRF, Ministry of Education, Government of India, ranks institutes across the nation in a number of categories.

    Yes! thapar institute is one of the best institute for b.tech and now It is ranked 23rd NIRF ranking 2021. If you re looking for quality education, good placements then Thapar is the best choice for you.

    Yes, Thapar is a good choice for B.Tech because Thapar provides good course curriculum, good quality of faculties, good placements and good computer labs.
