In my opinion, both Thapar and Chandigarh are exceptional institutions. However, Thapar surpasses Chandigarh in terms of placements, faculty support, and infrastructure. In addition, Thapar has 77 different employers who hire its students, including prominent companies like Microsoft, Walmart, DE Shaw & Co. , Amazon, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Adobe, IBM, NVIDIA, Samsung, YAHOO, NHAI, Vedanta, JSW Steel Ltd. , Indian Oil, and BOSCH. Thapar provides an excellent learning environment with state-of-the-art infrastructure and highly supportive faculty.

Both the universities are good in its own place but my personal choice would be Thapar as my friend has pursued his studies from here. He had one the best experiences studying here. He stayed in the universities hostel. He had all the facilities needed to educate. He is now placed in a very prestigious company with a high package.
