By July 15, 2023, 334 recruiters had taken part in the placement drive and had extended 1,884 placement offers to students. of these, 1,664 students were given 1 offer, and 110 students received more than 1. Among the top employers at Thapar University placements were IBM, Infosys, Amazon, J.P. Morgan, CISCO, Zomato, Deloitte, edelweiss, and Hero MotoCorp Ltd. At Thapar University placements 2022, the highest package offered is INR 40 LPA, while the average package is INR 10.97 LPA.&nbsp;</p>

As per the official statistics, a year-on-year increase was observed in the total offers made from 2021 to 2023 drives. Likewise, an improving trend was recorded in the total number of students placed over the past three years. The total number of offers increased by nearly 39% from 2021 to 2022 and then further increased slightly from 2022 to 2023. On the other hand, the number of students placed increased by almost 31% from 2021 to 2022 and then increased by nearly 11% from 2022 to 2023.
