There are two shifts for the APTET exam. Paper 1 is called upon in the morning shift, and Paper 2 is called upon in the evening shift. Students may also apply to present both papers together. If candidates prepare carefully, the APTET is a simple exam to take. For improved access, students can also view their APTET score card via digilocker. Paper 1 is for candidates who wish to teach in grades 1 through 5, and Paper 2 is for those who want to teach in classes 6 through 8. The Andhra Pradesh TET exam consists of two exams. The test is given using computer-based testing (CBT) and consists of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).

  • Yes, the Andhra Pradesh TET (Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test) exam is usually conducted in a single day. The exam is conducted in two sessions, with each session lasting for 2.5 hours. The first session is for candidates who are interested in teaching classes I to V, while the second session is for candidates who are interested in teaching classes VI to VIII. The timings and duration of each session are usually mentioned in the exam notification released by the Commissioner of School Education, Andhra Pradesh.
