Brainware University was established in 2016 and is approved by the UGC (University Grants Commission), Ministry of Education, Government of India, Ministry of MSME, PCI (Pharmacy Council of India), AIU, INC, WBNC, BCI (Bar Council of India), Directorate of Medical Education, Government of West Bengal, and recognised by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR) as a Scientific & Industrial Research Organisation (SIRO). Brainware University is a member of the Computer Society of India (CSI), the National Digital Library, and others. Hence the degree offered by Brainware University is valid all over India.
