Yes I agree with Shiva reviews are good but personally I think joining something new is always a risk when it comes to your career and future.

Are you talking about IISc banglore?? It will start its first batch this year... But the reputation it has got all over the world is enough to make this course a hit .... So if you are getting decent marks in IITJEE/AIEEE or you are selected through KVPY... Dont leave this research based course
