Chandigarh University, Gharuan is a good option for BBA. University School of Business (USB) in CU, ranked among the Best Management Colleges in Punjab has earned recognition for its unique style of teaching & experiential learning. The attribute that makes learning business management exclusive at USB is its specialised approach paired with a research focus, innovation culture and entrepreneurship zeal backed by world-class facilities.

Chandigarh university is the best university as compared to LPU. The infrastructure is best, faculty is best and most of all the placements are the best. I would highly recommend this university to all who want to pursue BBA or MBA courses. The placement record of the university has been very good and the students of BBA have been placed in highly reputed organizations. The case studies are used to teach the students with the help of which they find them in a real life situation of the organisation. I highly recommend this university.

From my personal experience, I can say that Chandigarh University is the best for BBA program. It focuses a lot on practical learning, real projects and workshops to help students gain hands-on experience. the university offers many specializations like Digital Marketing, Business Analytics, Finance, tourism, and Event Management, giving students plenty of choices to shape their careers.

Big companies like DE Shaw, Dabur, Godrej, HDFC, Amazon, Flipkart, IBM, Deloittee, Ernst & Young, and KPMG visit the campus every year, offering great placement opportunities. Even government organizations like NITI Aayog and AICTE visit the campus for

Both are good, however, I have noticed one thing which is exclusive to LPU, it is the sheer scale of its operations and massive national and international diversity of students and faculty, It works on a different level altogether which makes the comparison look difficult. Just look BBA is offered at LPU in many iterations as follows:
    BBA 3 years.
Dual Degree BBA MBA 5 years.
    BBA (Hons.)3 years.
Dual Degree BBA (Hons. ). -
MBA 5 years. BBA (Rural Management)3 year. Integrated BBA MBA 4 years. BBA (Information Technology)3 years. BBA (Airlines and Airport management)3 years. BBA (Financial Markets)3 years. BBA (Tourism and Hospitality)3

Hey, so from what I've checked on LPU's official site, the NEST counselling is mainly done online, which is super convenient for us students anywhere in India. You just log in after your results, pick your preferred courses and seats based on your rank, and lock it all in digitally—no need to travel right away.
It's got this smooth flow: download your scorecard, fill choices online, get seat allotment via merit, pay the initial fee (like INR20,000) through net banking or UPI, then submit docs later. LPU makes it flexible too, letting you pay offline at campus if you prefer, but the core process stays online for quick access.

Yeah, LPU totally releases the LPU NEST counselling dates on their official site—it's super organized and student-friendly. For 2026, they've got it starting February 8th onwards for B.Tech, with online seat preferences from Feb 8-10, results on 12th, and admissions up to late Feb. Results drop quick, like within 24-48 hours post-exam, so you can jump right into counselling without waiting forever.
It's all online mostly, through nest.lpu.in, where you update choices and get allotments based on your score—makes it easy from anywhere. No offline hassle unless you want campus visits for fees. LPU keeps everything updated live, way

Yes, it is actually very much required to bring along Class 10 and 12 certificates or at least mark sheets during the LPU NEST counseling, primarily because the university explicitly would wish to establish the age of applicants from the Class 10 marksheet and verify eligibility with the Class 12 certificate/marksheet before confirming admission and awarding a scholarship.

at LPU NEST counselling, you would have to check the result & rank, fill and lock online course/seat preferences, get the allotment of the seat based on the rank and choices, pay to secure the seat by paying the initial fee, and go on to upload/verify documents and pay the remaining fee within the stipulated time for final admission.
