    No, the merit list for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship (LS) in the CSIR NET exam is not the same. The merit list for JRF and LS is prepared separately based on the performance of candidates in the exam. The JRF merit list includes the names and roll numbers of candidates who have qualified for JRF based on their performance in both Paper I and Paper II of the exam. Candidates who score above the cut-off score for JRF are considered eligible for the fellowship, subject to meeting other eligibility criteria.     No, the CSIR NET merit list for JRF  and Lectureship is not the same.

    • The CSIR NET exam evaluates candidates for both JRF and Lectureship eligibility. However, the exam results are used to create two separate merit lists:
      • JRF Merit List
      • Lectureship Merit List
    • There's a slight difference in eligibility for JRF and Lectureship:
      • JRF: Open to fresh graduates with a valid GATE score or those in the final year of their Master's programme in Science stream. Age limit is typically 28 years.
