Is the Directorate of Distance Education Alagappa University degree valid for government jobs?

<p>There is a common doubt regarding the validity of the distance education certificats. However, the Government of India recognizes distance education certificates from UGC-DEB-approved universities for government jobs. The Ministry of Education's Distance Learning Division has stated that the central government recognizes academic qualifications from both public and private institutions for employment purposes. Taking this into consideration the Directorate of Distance Education Alagappa University degree is also valid for government jobs. In 2009, the Distance Education Council (DEC) in New Delhi gave ex-post facto approval to 108 programs offered at Alagappa University. In 2020, the DDE was renamed the Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) as per UGC-DEB Regulations.</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
