Is the exam standard of IMT Hyd as high as CAT? Any previous papers or syllabus related to the aptitude test would be beneficial.

In terms of syllavus and exam pattern IMT test is more or less similar to CAT. However, the difficulty level is comparaticely less than CAT.

Yes. It is similar to that of CAT. No question papers would be allowed to carry after the exam along with student.
