Is the girls hostel as strict as mentioned in the official student handbook?

Hi Sri, Yes, the hostel follows strict rules and regulations as mentioned in the official handbook. The director of the college keeps a check on all the activities of the both the hostels (girls and boys) along with the other faculties. There is a register maintained by the wardens. Students are suppose to report to the hostel on/before 9.30 pm, any delay or absence should be informed in prior to the wardens and the hostel in-charge. Hope this answers your question.

Thank you for the question. Yes, the rules here are strict as mentioned in the official student handbook. I myself stay in the hostel and there are timings which are equal for all. The gate is locked by the warden exactly at 9:30 p.m. Attendance register is also maintained. However, in case of emergency, girls are allowed to go out only after seeking prior permission from the hostel in-charge. Drinking alcohol and smoking cigarette is strictly prohibited in the hostel.
