In my career spanning 20 years, Ive had experience working with several top private universities in India including LPU. So I think Ill do justice to the answer. LPU is not just a university, it is a universe in itself. No other college/university in India operates at such scale in almost each and every sphere of activity of universities. As per my experience, LPU is Best OPTION. In Civil Engineering LPU emphasizes the evolution of manmade infrastructure as LPU understands how they have evolved to the present scenario. With the advancement of technology in leaps and bounds, the future of civil engineering in the years to come will be crucial, especially with the establishment of smart cities. LPU is nurturing our students to adapt and be equipped with this ever-changing scenario. To cater to these needs the department is structured into five vibrant centers of studies: Structural. Hydraulics. Environment. Geotechnica. Transportation. As per my friends experiences, those are graduated in civil from LPU. LPU is Imparting knowledge through site visits, case studies, real-time designs of structures. It has well-equipped lab facilities like concrete testing, cement testing, soil testing, surveying, highway material testing, and structural mechanics. They are Teaching through PPTs, videos, images, and animations. Manual, as well as computerized structural designing skills with CAD and soft-wares like STAAD Pro, MX Road, are provided to the students. I don't think LPU will be a good choice for civil engineering. LPU don't provide you any internship. Don't think by advertisement that it is good in civil engineering. LPU will be a good choice for CSE, ECE. There are very company for placement for civil engineering.

LPU is the best to pursue civil engineering. According to the recent NIRF ranking 2021 LPU is ranked 62nd among all Govt and Private universities in India. LPU is definitely a growing university and one can get great exposure from LPU. Considering your preference under civil engineering teaching, labs, exams, amenities in the campus all are par excellent. A career after civil engineering is highly rewarding. There are jobs that involve supervision, construction, design and analyzes of private as well as public projects, such as dams, highways, canals, water sewages and bridges. The profession demands excellent skills for both the administration and supervision of projects. Highly qualified teaching staff combined with the best laboratories and modern technologies makes LPU the best place to pursue your civil engineering degree. Students get internships also from big MNC's e. g bosch etc. Students get roles for engineers and trainees also. Many mnc's come for placements with great packages. Well, LPU is doing really well in civil engineering. My relative is doing B Tech ME in that university. And he is actually gratified with his performance as he can observe both mental and academic development in his personality. As far as the department of civil is concerned, the faculty is basically from IITs and NITs. Moreover, maximum of the faculty members have completed their Ph.D. or are in a pursuing status. Overall, its a huge education and learning hub. The "practically in learning" is the basis mantra of educating the students. Moreover, the placement is on hike with a number of giants visiting the campus. The course enables the student to practice civil engineering using up-to-date techniques, skills, and tools as a result of life-long learning ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data. The course benefits the students by giving them an understanding of professional, ethical, legal, security and social issues and responsibilities. The Department aims to provide students with a technical foundation incorporated with the industrial need together with the breadth needed in the profession via advanced study or field training, or as a base for other pursuits.
