Employment of chemical engineers is projected to grow 4 percent from 2019 to 2029, about as fast as the average for all occupations. Demand for chemical engineers' services depends largely on demand for the products of various manufacturing industries. Now going by the lines of LPU Chemical Engineering is a good option to go for at LPU. I don't think so because chemical engineering is not that popular branch in LPU and the strength of the students will be very less. In case of mainstream branches like CSE and ECE, LPU got some of the best curriculum and good placement record. But when it comes to not so popular branches, the placements are rare. And I don't know any one from chemical engineering so I cannot comment on teaching. I hope, it helps you.
