is the marks obtained in 12th and graduation level a criteria for selection into a civil service?
my marks in 12th and graduation is 49% and 54% respectively. will it be a deciding factor in getting selected for a civil service?(if i have crossed the prelims and mains)

the selection is based on the performance in civil services exam only.

No.The selection in civil services depend upon your performance in Mains Exam ( 2000 Marks) and Interview(300 Marks). The preliminary exam is of qualifying nature.
