Well, it actually depends if you had maths is your +2 or not. Because the maths you will study in BCA will be the advanced version of what you studied in your +2. It becomes comparatively difficult to clear maths exam for non-maths students. It is designed and developed for BCA students. Mathematics taught in BCA is purely based on mathematics taught in class 11th and 12th. One needs to have a good grip on the basics of topics covered in class 11th and 12th. Otherwise, it becomes really quite difficult for a non-maths student to clear the exam. I don't want to demotivate you but most of the non-mathematics students end up getting backs

The answer for this question would be a straight NO. Because in BCA you will be studying the basics of mathematics in each of your semester in the first semester you will be studying the basics from the class 11th and from the class 12th and in your second semester you will be studying discrete mathematics which is also easier. Don't be afraid to take admission in BCA because they do not have a different syllabus from the school but still to maintain some difficulty so they have an extra syllabus. If you are not from the maths stream you can still learn and practice it if you have no knowledge about it because the maths in the BCA is n

No, its not at all tough. Even average students are able to solve the maths of BCA. Thus, I would rather say, it's not at all tough for students who haven't studied maths during their class 12 and everything like tough or easy. Its everything depends on the teacher who teaches the subject. So, don't worry if you want to pursue BCA, you can.

Take my advice I am current BCA student in second semester and everyone on this website are just giving you a wrong information the BCA Maths is very tough even for those students too who are already in PCM in 12th. So if you are not in Maths background then don't take it because you need to give 5 times more effort than normal Maths student to just passing the exam. And I will not lie you my name is Adarsh Singh from IMRT college, Lucknow BCA batch 2021-2024.

Not so difficult. You'll suffer a little bit due to lack of some basics which are taught in 12th. But, if you concentrate well on the subject, that gap will be fulfilled and maths will become a part.
