Yes, there are many successful women seafarers across the Indian and foriegn countries as well.
Maharashtra Academy of Naval Education and Training (MANET) offers the courses specialised in Merchant Navy studies. The programmes are available in Marine Engineering, Nautical Science. For admission, candidates must have minimum 60% in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Science subjects.
