Is the minority status different for SIES MMS and SIES technology?

On DTE site for SIES MMS it shows minority Tamil and for technology it is South Indian. Is it true or there is some error.

The DTE is the highest body which has the capacity to make such decisions. Until 2015, SIES admitted only Tamil linguistic people. Just in 2016, it was reversed to South Indians linguistics for the reasons unknown to us. There is a high possibility that SIES may go to their old way of admitting Tami
