NCERT is just the summary of all the topics for school studies. If you are looking for further details and all the required topics in detail, then Nootan and HC Verma will be more specific.

NCERT is the most valuable and important book, not only for the class 12th board exam, but also for the various competitive exams like JEE (Mains and Advanced), NEET, AIIMS, etc. Many students find Physics difficult to study through NCERT.
