Is the new JEE pattern valid for those who are taking a drop this year?
My friend gave JEE in 2016 & is taking a drop now to appear for it in 2017 again.

I think the pattern of JEE Mains exam has not changed. It is the same, 90 questions in Mains exam where you will get 30 from physics, 30 from chemistry and 30 from mathematics. You will get +4 for correct answer and -1 for the wrong answer.
In advanced, the paper is unpredictable.
