  • Yes, the UP government approved the removal of the optional subject from the UPPSC PCS main exam 2023. The government also approved the addition of two papers in the UPPCS main exam which will ask the Uttar Pradesh specific General Knowledge and questions related to the folklores of the state. The UPPSC PCS 2024 exam will also be conducted as per the new exam syllabus.
