Is the past academics take into consideration for MBA placements in B-Schools?

Yes, they do matter to a certain extent. However, if you excel in your project/internship area and at the campus interview then it may not matter much. So, forget the past which you cannot change and focus on the present and do your best and all in future will fall into place.
